Terms & Conditions – Photography Tour Participation

These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in photography tours organized by Nikita Gordijn, a business registered in the Netherlands. By booking and joining a tour, you accept the terms below in full.

1. Company Details

All services and contracts are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

2. Booking, Deposit & Payment

  • Your booking is confirmed only after payment of a 30% non-refundable deposit.
  • The remaining balance must be paid in two steps:
    • 50% of the balance is due two months before the tour starts.
    • The final 20% is due upon arrival at the tour location.
  • Payments are accepted via bank transfer or methods specified at booking.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • The 30% deposit is non-refundable if the participant cancels.
  • If you cancel more than 30 days before the tour, any amount beyond the deposit will be refunded.
  • If you cancel less than 30 days before the tour start date, no refund will be issued.
  • If the organizer cancels due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics), all payments except the deposit will be refunded, and the deposit can be applied to any future tour organized by Nikita Gordijn.

4. Travel Requirements & Insurance

  • Participants are responsible for obtaining a valid passport, required tourist visas, and comprehensive travel insurance (medical, baggage, liability, trip interruption).
  • The organizer is not liable for any uninsured losses, missed flights, or denied entry.

5. Liability & Personal Risk

  • Participation is at your own risk.
  • The organizer is not liable for injury, illness, loss, theft, accidents, or damage during the tour.
  • Participants must follow local laws, customs, and tour guidelines.
  • The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unlawful or disruptive — without refund.

6. Photography & Model Conduct

  • Official sessions include ethnic costume shoots and indoor Fine Art figure studies (undraped) as part of the organised itinerary. Outdoor undraped work, glamour, and unauthorised private shoots are not permitted.
  • Participants must respect models, guides, and locals at all times.
  • Tripods are not allowed at ghats, temples, or crowded streets.
  • Model releases cover personal portfolio and promotional use only — commercial resale or publication requires separate agreements.

7. Accommodation & Meals

  • Standard bookings include shared double occupancy rooms.
  • Single occupancy is available for an additional fee (to be requested at booking).
  • Meals are included daily. Traditional local meals are served occasionally, but continental or familiar options are also provided.
  • Dietary requests are considered but not guaranteed.

8. Transport & Luggage

  • All domestic transport (such as mini-bus, train, domestic flights) is included.
  • Airline baggage limits apply for domestic flights — any extra luggage fees are the participant’s responsibility and must be paid directly to the airline.
  • Airport pickups and local transfers are provided as per the itinerary.

9. Force Majeure

The organizer is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond their control, such as natural disasters, civil unrest, airline disruptions, government restrictions, or health emergencies (e.g., pandemics). In such cases, itinerary changes may occur without liability. Refunds will be made as per the cancellation policy.

10. Media Use & Consent

  • Participants agree that behind-the-scenes images or videos may be used for future tour marketing by Nikita Gordijn.
  • Private participant portraits or identifiable work will never be used without consent.
  • If you wish to opt out, you must notify the organizer in writing.

11. Law & Jurisdiction

All agreements and disputes arising from this contract are governed by the laws of The Netherlands, under the jurisdiction of Dutch courts.

By booking and paying the deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
